Newly opened in 2023, The House on Lizard Island is an elegant, three-storey villa on a secluded peninsula at the northern end of the Great Barrier Reef, with direct access to private beaches. An all-inclusive stay includes tailored experiences crafted by the Lizard Island team and boats to explore the reef, a naturalist to lead hikes, a private chef and sommelier, and even a facialist, massage therapist and yoga instructor. Meals can be personalised and prepared by a Lizard Island chef.

The two-bedroom Daintree Pavilion at Silky Oaks Lodge, built in 2022, is a super-luxury villa that immerses guests in the World Heritage rainforest. The rainforest is a constant presence as it wraps itself around the Pavilion’s walls of glass, and its vast open-air lounge. The two king-size rooms in separate wings are connected by the lounge, where the lofty pavilion encourages the breeze and the sounds of the rainforest to flow throughout the accommodation.

New to the lodge is the ultra-premium Ocean Pavilion. The two-key, four-bedroom pavilion can be booked as one, or divided into two separate private villas. Dairy Flat Lodge is a private villa set amongst about 40 acres of gardens and regenerative farmland that are the source of much of the organically-grown produce used by the award-winning Lake House restaurant.
