In his 13-year maritime career, Gurpreet has held multiple commercial responsibilities, ranging from building a digital venture to leading marine decarbonization initiatives. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and is passionate about onshore and offshore diversity.

Global Operations Director, Cargill Ocean Transportation
Eman Abdallah manages a global team of 150 people, operating 700 vessels, transporting 200 million tons of various commodities. She is responsible for Ocean Transportation's sustainability agenda and is the Cargill representative for Sea Cargo Charter. Her goal is to make zero harm and zero carbon shipping a reality underpinned by promoting crew wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion, both onshore and offshore.

CEO, Synergy
Unni is a part of the leadership team at Synergy and Alpha Ori. He is a determined philanthropist and sits on the boards of the Global Maritime Forum, the North of England and is the Vice-Chair at Maritime Anti-Corruption Network. He is a thought partner with one of the largest not-for-profit organization called Ashoka, and is a Trustee of the Cochin Cancer Society.

CEO, Berge Bulk Ltd
James Marshall is the CEO and founder of Berge Bulk Ltd, which operates a fleet of 85 ships with a carrying capacity of 14 million dwt. Berge Bulk has committed to carbon neutrality by 2025 at the latest and has already started carbon neutral voyages. James holds a BA and MA from Cambridge University and an MBA from IMD in Switzerland. He sits on the Lloyd’s and DNV Shipowners committees and is Chairman of the Marshall Foundation.
