RUN TO SAVE RHINOS

Run For Nature is BACK for 2024 on Sunday 22 September, and this time you’ll be running to help save rhinos from extinction. With a 10k and Kids Mile, the whole family can get involved!

Join us on World Rhino Day and help save this amazing animal. The two species of rhino that we are working to protect (Eastern black and greater one-horned) are both at risk of extinction due to habitat loss and poaching. Your fundraising helps support our vital work at the zoo and around the world.

Run a route with a difference

The Chester Zoo 10k and Kids Mile both have flat and fast routes through our zoo estate. Starting in the zoo itself, you’ll then pass fascinating sights like our Conservation Breeding Management Area and where our giraffes’ food is grown.

Amazing extra

Every runner gets FREE entry to the zoo on the day of your event, and anyone coming to watch you will get discounted zoo entry. When you reach the finish line there will be a bespoke sustainable finishers medal waiting for you. Plus as an added bonus, if you raise over £65 you’ll get a rhino cuddly toy!
